The idea came about when we were surfing the Internet to find some general info about Paragliding. We were surprised to find that Paragliding information and resources were scattered across the Internet, making it difficult to find what we wanted without filtering through websites for hours. It was at that time that we decided to create ParaglidingPilot.net.
Because Paragliding is such an individual experience, we really wanted to provide everyone with a place where they could share their experiences and achievements. Where they could have a face and a voice to the rest of the world.
PARAPILOT PROFILE – Your Face in the Community
To give everyone a face in the community, we developed the Parapilot Profile. Customized specifically to paragliding pilots, the Parapilot Profile allows its users to display everything, from their licenses to their equipment.

The Pilot Journal was originally intended for pilots use as an online log of events to help immortalize every moment spent in the air. Free flight is an experience that is difficult to describe, so we designed the Pilot Journals to help make that job easier by allowing members to upload images and footage to aid in illustrating their stories.
At ParaglidingPilot.net, we are always striving to provide pilots with the tools necessary to discuss, maintain and promote paragliding as a sport. We want you to know that this is only the beginning of the journey and hope that you will join in our goal to raise the awareness of our favourite aerial sport.
